    In the “Details” tab, you need to: Name your campaign >Choose your funding source >Set campaign dates and budget.
  5. After setting up your campaign, you can proceed to set up your first ad group.
  6. Engagement campaigns, the default goal for the ad group will be set to optimizing towards driving Engagement.
  7. Select the bid type you’d like to use in your Ad group:
    • Automatic bid (recommended): Your bid will auto-optimize to get the best results at the lowest price (within your budget). Automatic bid is the easiest way to quickly get your campaigns live and serving impressions on the platform
    • Maximum bid: This bid type gives you more control over the cost of each billable action. You can set your maximum bid, and you won’t be charged more than that for your results. This is useful for experienced advertisers who have a specific budget in mind for each engagement, especially when running large-scale campaigns.
  8. The “Pay by” metric for Engagement campaigns will default to “Engagement”.
  9. Select the audience you’d like your ads to serve to in the “Targeting” tab. Learn more about our targeting options
